Blackwattle Alpaca Farm Tour
Explore the farm with one of their experienced tour guides. Start your tour with meeting one of their halter trained alpacas or llamas for an adorable photo that will make all your friends and family jealous. After a fabulous photo opportunity with your new fluffy friend, then you will go into one their alpaca paddocks, with their tour guide, where you will be surrounded by their happy herd. Their herd will race over to see you and the tasty treats you will have for them. You will then have the chance to feed them from the tasty bucketâŠwhich they love! You will enjoy an exciting and educational talk on the steps involved to get the fibre from the paddock to a finish product. You will also learn about their herds quirky personalities and how some of them got their names! You will finish off the tour with a complimentary snack (tea, coffee or soft drink + sweet/savoury snack) to enjoy while you watch our herds grazing in their paddocks.

Meander through the farmsâ paddock, in the company of one of their halter-trained alpacas or llamas, until you arrive at their picturesque dam. Here, youâll have the opportunity to snap photos and shower your newfound, fluffy pals with affectionate pats and cuddles. Following the breathtaking trek to our dam, guests will embark on an exhilarating return journey to our starting point, where a delightful surprise awaits! Get ready for an unforgettable encounter with another herd of alpacas on our farm as youâre handed a bowl filled with yummy alpaca food. This enchanting experience ensures plenty of moments for you to capture heartwarming photos, creating lasting memories of your encounter with the alpaca or llama of your dreams! Age restrictions: This tour is suitable for ages 7+ years. Participants must be able to understand instructions and hold on to/guide an alpaca safely and independently. We recommend the Alpaca Hand Feeding tour for groups with children aged 7 and below.

As you step into the paddock, youâll find yourself encircled by a joyful herd of alpacas and llamas, all eagerly anticipating the delicious treats youâve brought to fill their bellies! These friendly creatures are more than happy to enjoy the treats straight from your bucket. However, if youâre eager to forge a closer connection, thereâs no llama-drama involved in hand-feeding your newfound fluffy companions! Their knowledgeable guides will introduce you to the individual members of the herd, offering insights into their unique personalities and endearing behaviours. Experience includes: A âmagic green bucketâ filled with alpaca muesli to hand feed your new fluffy best friends. An experienced tour guide who will be able to answer all your alpaca and llama questions.
