In connection with the State Library's 200th Anniversary and the display of new First Nations works, Indigenous Engagement Manager Damien Webb is joined by soprano and composer Deborah Cheetham Fraillon AO and education leader Lynette Riley AO, along with their portrait artists Vicki Sutherland and Charlotte Lund. Speaking in the Paintings from the Collection exhibition beside their newly hung portraits, the panel will reflect on how Aboriginal people have been depicted, collected and presented throughout the Library's history, and on the experience of being portrayed, or of portraying others.
