Wambool trail

Located in the Wambool Nature Reserve 30 minutes from Bathurst the Wambool trail will take 30 - 45 minutes one way. This trail is well signposted and is an easy walk with a few slight uphill sections. With over 50 species of birds spotted in the reserve and a wide range of flora and fauna present in the reserve, this is a great spot for bird watching and animal spotting. To make the most of a walk through the reserve the Wambool trail can be looped to the Geebung trail via the Link trail to form a loop back to the entrance this loop will take about 40 minutes from the start of the link trail.
