Kosciusko Winter Camping

Enjoy a half day, easy day or full day snow survival course to learn where and how to set up camp, build a snow shelter (conditions permitting) and stay safe. Or camp overnight in the snow and experience the wild beauty of the winter alpine environment. You will learn essential skills for the wilderness: weather, navigation, group management, hydration and how to prevent hypothermia. Refine your skills as you plan half day snow shoe trips on the first day and on the second day, climb Mount Kosciuszko! Group sizes are small, no more than six people, to ensure Mike can spend time with each of you.
