Here you are introduced to the skills necessary to maximise safety and comfort for the amazing dive ahead. The bay may be used if conditions permit. In session three it is time to meet the marine life. Visit the Weedy Sea Dragon Colony or Octopus and Seahorse garden. A memorable experience you will never forget.

Meet some of the bay's rarest marine life on one of Bayplay Adventure guided dives. You may see Weedy Sea Dragons, Seahorses, Stingrays and much more. Dive sites include the Sea Dragon Colony at Portsea, the Seahorse and Octopus Garden at Rye and Nudibranch Wall at Blairgowrie.

Sea kayaking is the ultimate way of exploring the pristine coastline of the Mornington Peninsula. Their fun and eco-friendly vessels present a quiet and tranquil experience. The opportunity to spot the Burrunan dolphins, Australian Fur seals and Fairy penguins makes this the perfect tour for those craving a little adventure and connection with nature. The tour will begin with a short briefing to cover the equipment use, terminology, safety procedures and skills. Once out on the water your guide will share some history on the Point Nepean National Park, Port Phillip Bay and Dolphin Sanctuary, including local information and facts on the marine life you may encounter. After travelling up the coastline through the dolphin sanctuary towards Point Nepean you'll be instructed to turn around and head towards Sorrento, keep any eye out for those hilltop mansions and private piers on your way. A halfway stop at a secluded beach will allow you to stretch your legs before continuing the final stretch of the journey. If its warm enough you might even be able to go for quick dip.
