Huch - Billy's Hideaway
Surrounded by bush and native forests, Billy's Hideaway sits at the bottom of a hill overlooking a Billabong, which attracts native birds, kangaroos and wombats. As natural light pours through the transparent structure, enjoy views along the valley floor and golden sunsets in this cosy and private home away from home. Located in Wollombi, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Sydney, it accommodates 2 adults and 2 children. You'll enjoy a comfortable stay with family or friends sleeping in a spacious and cosy king bed, and two king single beds (bunks). There's a high quality small kitchen with all the cooking equipment and appliances you'd find at home, a bathroom with a hot shower, a normal flushing toilet, and a compact and beautiful dining and lounge area that is framed by nature. There's also air con heating and cooling the dark interior and 360-degree glass walls are designed to immerse guests in nature. Running on sun rays and rain water, it is completely off-grid, so your holiday is kinder to the environment.
Huch - The Lantern
The Lantern sits quietly beneath a stunning sandstone hill, overlooking long vistas of the valley floor surrounded by untouched bushland. Kangaroos, kookaburras, and deer frequently wander by or rest near the cabin. If you're lucky, you might even spot the elusive Wollombi Valley Black Panther, last seen just 200 metres away. This private, architecturally designed cabin offers everything you need—and nothing you don't—for the perfect escape. The space is designed to immerse you in nature, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto front and rear decks. Inside, you'll sleep comfortably in a spacious king bed, with a pull-out double bed available for kids. The fully equipped kitchen includes high-end appliances and an integrated gas BBQ, while the modern bathroom features a hot shower and a standard flushing toilet. Relax in the beautiful lounge and dining area framed by nature, or unwind by the woodburner on cool winter nights. For ultimate relaxation, enjoy the woodfired hot tub beneath the stars. Whether you're watching wildlife from the front deck or lying back on the rear deck beneath the towering sandstone cliffs, The Lantern offers a truly peaceful, luxurious stay immersed in nature.
Huch - The Canopy
The Canopy is a luxury sustainable glamping experience tucked away inside a historic barn with 360-degree views of open fields and bush. The perfect hideaway for a luxury camping experience, enjoy a natural wood-fired hot tub surrounded by nature or cosy around the fire pit and gaze up at the stars. The Canopy consists of two large canvas glamping tents, one with a luxury king bed and the other with a luxury queen bed (both have electric blankets for winter camping). There's a modern bathroom with a hot shower and flushing toilet, and also a modern indoor kitchen and laundry that includes a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Cooking and eating happens outside in an oak kitchen and open plan dining area (under the barns canopy), overlooking the valley and bush. The 165m2 raised timber floor and canopy keeps you safe and comfortable in all weather. Solar-powered and completely off-grid, The Canopy has been designed and renovated to have a very low environmental impact.
