Terms of Service
Last Updated: 15 December 2025
Welcome to ILoveAU.com (“Service”), operated by ILoveAU Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Permitted Use
The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use the Service for any commercial endeavours unless expressly endorsed or approved by us.
You must not use the Service to:
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data for competitive purposes or to build similar databases.
- Distribute, modify, or reproduce any content from the Service without our prior written consent.
- Engage in any activity that could be deemed defamatory, abusive, unlawful, or in furtherance of illegal activities.
3. Data Integrity and Tourism Information
Unlike generic AI models that rely on broad web scraping, our Service is designed to provide high-quality, verified travel information. We integrate with official Australian tourism databases and authoritative industry repositories to ensure our listings reflect detailed information provided directly by tourism operators (such as opening hours, pricing, and amenities).
However, by using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- Data Latency: While our data comes from official sources, real-world conditions (such as temporary closures due to weather or maintenance) can change faster than these databases are updated.
- AI Presentation: We use AI to process and present this official data. While the underlying source is authoritative, the AI’s conversational output may occasionally misinterpret context or omit specific details.
- Verification: We recommend confirming time-sensitive details directly with the provider, especially before making a booking or a long journey.
4. User Generated Content (UGC)
When you submit reviews, ratings, photos, or other content (“User Content”):
- License: You grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display your User Content for any purpose, including marketing, promoting, and improving the Service.
- Responsibility: You warrant that your User Content is your original work, does not contain defamatory or offensive material, and does not infringe the privacy or intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Moderation: We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, and remove any User Content at our sole discretion.
5. Third-Party Links and Products
Our Service contains links to websites and services operated by third parties (such as booking engines, tour operators, and government sites).
- No Control: We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
- Your Risk: You access and use these third-party websites entirely at your own risk. Any booking or transaction you make is solely between you and the third party.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law):
- We exclude all liability for any loss, damage, or expense (including indirect, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profits) arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information contained on this Service or any linked site.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the resupply of the relevant services or the cost of resupplying them.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for the resolution of any disputes.
