Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre

Experience the peace and beauty of Central NSW at Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre. Set among 67 hectares of stunning, natural bushland, you'll love the leafy outlook, pristine lake and big skies as well as the many native animals that abound.

There are two four-bedroom cottages available. Each sleeps 16 and features a full kitchen, lounge with television, reverse cycle air-conditioning and bunk beds. There are also modern, motel-style units that sleep two to six.

Conveniently located an hour's drive from Dubbo and Orange, Lake Burrendong is a great base to explore Central NSW. It's also a favourite among nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts. Take a walk through Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum with its 167 hectares of unique and diverse Australian flora or drop a line in Burrendong Dam. Foodies can head to Orange or Dubbo to sample the local produce and wines.
