Rock of Ages Musical at Glen Innes Chapel Theatre

Story Synopsis: In1987, the fabled Bourbon Room is the vibrant heart of the Sunset Strip. Run by former rock impresario Dennis Dupree and his mischievous assistant Lonny, it is the essence of rock and roll. When small-town hopeful Sherrie Christian arrives, she bumps into Drew, a busboy with dreams of stardom. Love-struck Drew lands Sherrie a job, but their budding romance is threatened when the Mayor, persuaded by scheming German developers, plans to demolish the Strip. Dennis convinces rock god Stacee Jaxx to play a final benefit concert to save the venue. However, Stacee leaves destruction in his wake, getting Sherrie fired. Amid protests led by feisty Anita, Sherrie flees to a nearby club owned by Justice Charlier, while Drew falls into the clutches of a boy band. Who can save the Bourbon Room and the young lovers? Only Lonny knows.
