This is a great weekend with Hedonistic Hiking exploring one of the most historic towns in North East Victoria. Beechworth is the area's best-preserved gold rush town and this itinerary has two fully guided hikes. The first is in the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park and the second through the area’s prestigious Nebbiolo vineyards. Dine in two of the town's most popular restaurants, including the multi award-winning Provenance. Enjoy fabulous picnic lunches en route and taste some of the finest wines of the region. Beechworth is an easy drive from Albury airport and around three and a half hours from Melbourne. Choose where to stay from an amazing selection of local accommodation in this historic town.

Hedonistic Hiking offers a series of Sunset Dinners on Mount Buffalo, on selected evenings during the summer months. Close to Bright in north east Victoria, this beautiful granite mountain is home to a number of unique plants and wildlife and gives shelter to lyrebirds, wombats and possums amongst many other species. The highest point on Mount Buffalo is known as The Horn which sits at 1,723 metres above sea level. It offers a cool haven in summer with phenomenal views over the surrounding landscape. The event starts with an afternoon transfer from the centre of Bright up to the mountain. You will walk on well-maintained mountain trails before arriving at The Horn as the sun is setting. Dinner will include canapés and three courses prepared by us using the best locally-sourced fresh produce, matched with fabulous wines from the area. At the end of the evening guests will be transferred back to Bright. This unique event could be booked by private groups and a minimum of four people would be required.

The Goldfields Track offers some of the most stunning hiking trails in Central Victoria. Hedonistic Hiking's tour here follows 92 kilometres of the trail’s true highlights, starting in the beautiful landscape of the Great Dividing Range north of Castlemaine, and exploring native bushland, deep gorges and fern-lined creeks. Experienced guides Jackie and Mick Parsons are with the group every step of the way, looking after all the creature comforts and sharing their knowledge of the region. As with all Hedonistic Hiking tours, there is as much emphasis on good food and wine as there is on walking. The tour heads in a southerly direction, winding through open farmland and ironbark and stringybark forests, to unearth many vestiges of the rich gold rush history for which the area is famous. Visit the mineral springs at Hepburn and follow a spectacular gorge to arrive at the lake in the charming town of Daylesford. Stay in a luxurious 19th century private house, with professionally-trained Mick assuming his role as chef on the first two evenings. Dinner on the final day is at the celebrated two Chef’s Hats Lake House restaurant, with its beautiful setting overlooking the water.

They look after your every need and love to share their passion for hiking this beautiful coastline.

A fabulous Hedonistic Hiking High Country weekend of alpine walking, delicious food and fine wine. Hotham is best-known as a snow village but it is equally beautiful in summer with spectacular unbroken views of the mountain landscape. Make your way to Hotham on Friday in time for dinner and on Saturday and Sunday join fully-guided hikes, with the famous Hedonistic Hiking picnics en route. Stay in spacious lodge accommodation and enjoy dinners prepared by Mick, who will act as your private chef, and dine in one of the area's best-loved restaurants. The tour finishes after breakfast on Monday.

The far south west coastal region of Hedonistic Hiking's home state Victoria is wonderfully wild and remote. The tour explores this fascinating landscape before heading north across the plains to the spectacular mountains of the Southern Grampians. Traditional owners have been occupying these ranges for thousands of years and refer to them as Gariwerd. With three nights in each location the tour offers a fantastic variety of hikes, seeing seal colonies, volcanoes, petrified forests, and a rich diversity of flora and fauna. As with all Hedonistic Hiking tours, the focus is on the very best local food and wine, as well as the walking. Experienced guides Jackie and Mick Parsons are with the group every step of the way, looking after all the creature comforts and sharing their knowledge of the region. The final evening is at the renowned Royal Mail in Dunkeld, a restaurant with an outstanding working kitchen garden and also an award-winning wine cellar. There are two accommodations: a charming guesthouse in Portland by the coast, and Mount Sturgeon Homestead in Dunkeld at the southern tip of the Grampians. The meeting and drop-off point is Ballarat.
