The Orange Heritage Trail is a self‑guided walking route that links many of the city's most significant historic buildings, homes, and cultural landmarks. The trail highlights only a selection of the beautifully restored sites you can discover throughout Orange, offering a glimpse into the region's architectural and social history. The walk begins at the Orange Visitor Information Centre and follows Byng Street, taking around 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace. Along the way, you'll find a series of interpretive signs that share stories, historical background, and insights into the people and events that shaped the city. You can locate the map of the Heritage Trail via Orange City Councils website under the Know tab and under About Orange or printed copies are available at the Orange Visitor Information Centre.
