Swim with Turtles
Enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, engaging with turtles, marine life and nature with the ecologically conscious Swim with Turtles Tour! The tour begins with a 20-minute boat ride to Cook Island Aquatic Reserve (Choongurra-Narrian). The reserve lies approximately 600-metre off the shore of Fingal Head, New South Wales. It is a foraging ground to a significant number of sea turtles. The numbers is so significant that the island was originally named Turtle Island. It is here that you will dive in and meet the these turtally awesome locals! The surrounding waters of the reserve are also home to a wide variety of subtropical and temperate species of fish, crustaceans, and rays – just to name a few! Prepare to be awed by the magical underwater world that lies here on their doorstep!
Whale Watching Gold Coast
Each year from May to November, over 40,000 humpback whales migrate along Australia's east coast, passing close to shore between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, one of the best vantage points to witness them in the wild. Our safari-style vessel offers eye-level viewing for close, intimate encounters. Every tour is unique, and with our whale sighting guarantee, you can relax knowing you'll witness these incredible creatures in their natural environment. WHAT IS INCLUDED Guaranteed whale sightings or return for free. Qualified, experienced and professional skipper and crew. Maximum 12 passengers. Informative and captivating commentary throughout the tour on humpback whales and other marine life; Australian Aboriginal and European history along with the local area. Spray jackets and Reef Safe Sunscreen available upon request. WHAT TO BRING Beanie, warm jumper or insulated jacket. Spray jacket or rain coat. Sunglasses and hat. Camera, GoPro etc. Drinking water. Doing everything they can to maximise your chance of swimming with whales but what you must understand is; they don’t swim with whales, the whales swim with you. While they guarantee whale sightings, they cannot guarantee your swim with them; the time they spend with you or the proximity they will come. Every whale swim is unique and the highly experienced skipper and crew are on hand throughout to make this experience personal as well as professional. They have a wealth of knowledge and passion for whales and the stunning Gold Coast region they look forward to sharing with you.
