Ready for the ultimate offshore experience? Join Go Fish Yamba Charters and explore the rich waters from Evans Head to Sandon and out to the shelf. We run premium offshore fishing charters targeting snapper, pearl perch, mulloway, mackerel, kingfish, mahi mahi and more — as well as small-group whale watching cruises during the annual humpback migration. Go Fish is a local father-and-son operation, born and bred in Yamba, with a lifetime of experience on these waters. Our vessel, Achiever, is a 15-metre Alufarm build — one of the largest charter boats on the North Coast. Powered by a Volvo Penta D12 650HP engine, she offers a smooth, stable and comfortable ride offshore. With a maximum of 12 passengers, we provide a more personal and enjoyable experience — whether you're fishing or whale watching. All fishing gear is supplied, featuring quality Shimano rods and reels spooled with braid to give you the best chance of landing your catch. Fishing trips depart daily (weather permitting) from Yamba Shores Tavern, with pick-up available from Iluka (Iluka Boatshed). Departure is typically 5:30am, returning around 1:00–1:30pm. Whale watching cruises run seasonally in the afternoons. Let's Go Fish. 🎣🐋
Group Go Fish Yamba Charter
Ready for the best offshore fishing adventure possible? Book your Group of up to 12 passengers and fish all areas between Evans Heads to Sandon and east to the shelf, targeting species such as snapper, pearl perch, mulloway, mackerel, kingfish, mahi mahi, etc. The Go Fish team is a father-son duo, born and bred in Yamba, with a lifetime of knowledge fishing in Yamba and surrounding areas. Their vessel the “Achiever”, the largest fishing charter on the north coast, is a 15-metre Alufarm build with an inboard Volvo Penta D12 650HP engine. She is one smooth, spacious ride with great stability offering great comfort for passengers. Achiever will accommodate up to 12 passengers per voyage. Go Fish supply all the fishing gear, made up of new Shimano reels and rods spooled with braid to give you the best possible chance of landing your catch! They depart daily (weather pending) from Yamba Shores Tavern (pick-up available for Iluka at Iluka boatshed). They aim for a 5:30am departure and return around 1-1:30pm. Let’s Go Fish!
Whale Watching Cruises
An afternoon whale watching cruise departing from Yamba Shores Tavern, heading offshore between Woody Head and Angourie to witness the annual humpback whale migration. Relax aboard our spacious 15m vessel as we follow the coastline, offering a comfortable, small-group experience with front-row views of whales, dolphins and the stunning Yamba shoreline.
