East Gresford Showground

East Gresford Showground provides camping in a pleasant location beside the Allyn River.

There are plenty of grassy locations with power outlets and mostly level, offering powered and unpowered sites. You will find the showground has hose connector taps, a strong mobile phone signal, and is family-friendly.

There is a large swimming hole in the river with a path down the embankment to the water. Bring your swimmers and a canoe to paddle around, or relax by the large shady trees.

Gresford is a beautiful country town. The district's vineyards were amongst the earliest in the Hunter Valley. There is plenty of history and old world charm standing alongside modern amenities and direct access to the Upper Allyn.

The caretaker collects camping fees in the afternoon.
