Back at the house, you can rinse off under the outdoor shower, before preparing for the day in this glorious corner of the universe. The long verandahs on each side of the house let you hang out whatever the weather. Ready for all seasons, Maxi’s has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, a combustion stove and solar battery electricity backup. The stylish interior of the house and studio provides multiple living spaces in which to relax, watch Netflix and your favourite streaming services, and play board and card games. In the evening gather for a drink on the western verandah as the sun sinks in a burst of colour. With three garden spaces, you can stretch out on a sun lounge under the palm trees, or read a book while the kids play on the lawn. Nearby you can enjoy beach fishing (bring your rod), surfing and boogie boarding (bring your boards), bush walking, canoeing and kayaking on Lake Wollumboola or at Curley’s Bay.   Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy a barbeque and dine outdoors on the covered patio.
