Bear Gully is a wonderful all seasons holiday destination - the perfect retreat to experience the vitality of nature's elements. This pristine coastal retreat has its own little beach tucked into the coast of Waratah Bay which is a perfect place to swim, fish, snorkel, dive or just fossick amongst the beautiful rock pools.
During the winter months it is just as beautiful as you sit watching the wind whipping up the waves or watching the lightning as it explodes over the granite boulders of Wilson's Prom.

We had the most incredible stay at Bear Gully cottages. Truly a five day family vacation we will remember for the rest of our lives. The cottages are so special and the location is absolutely incredible. It is the perfect reconnection with nature, and so family friendly.

Relaxing location with amazing easterly views. The sunrises are worth getting up early for and if you are lucky enough you may spot a koala and wombats as well as an abundance of birds. Surrounded by farmland and coast the atmosphere is peaceful. Well equipped cottage with wood burner and space to spread out and unwind.

A nice place to getaway with beautiful views of the bay and over to Wilson's Prom. Stayed at the Shearwater cottage and it was an easy walk to the beach although could have been better signed and the beach is quite rocky, so not ideal for swimming. Great if you want to just hang out, but not a lot to do at the place or close by, so be prepared to travel for any nice cafes, restaurants, longer walks

From the accommodations you have a view of Wilsons Promontory National Park and Bass Strait.
The houses are fully equipped. On the property you may just come across Bernie (the house koala), who, at the same time as you are enjoying the view from your veranda, is sleeping in the tree next to the same veranda. We were also lucky to see a wombat on the property.
Wilsons Promontory National Park is easy to drive to from here. It is also a short walk to a nearby beach.
