Omeo Mountain Bike Park is more than just a top-tier riding destination — it's the result of a passionate community effort to transform the historic town of Omeo, Victoria, into a hub for adventure tourism. Developed as part of a regional revitalization initiative, the park was designed to highlight the area's stunning natural assets and encourage sustainable tourism in East Gippsland.

Construction of the park began in the early 2020s with support from local mountain biking enthusiasts, the East Gippsland Shire Council, and regional development grants, both state and federal. The goal was to create a world-class network of mountain bike trails that would attract riders from across Victoria and beyond, while boosting local businesses and preserving Omeo's rich cultural heritage.

Since opening stage one in December 2024, Omeo Mountain Bike Park has rapidly grown into one of Australia's top mountain biking destinations, blending thrilling rides with breathtaking alpine scenery and a strong sense of local pride.
