The Olsen Art Series

We recently stayed in the Penthouse at The Olsen in South Yarra and absolutely loved every minute of it. The apartment is gorgeous, with stunning surrounds and breathtaking views across Melbourne from almost every angle. Day or night, the outlook is incredible and really makes the stay feel special. The pool and spa area are beautiful and perfect for relaxing while taking in the city views. One of the things we loved most was the artwork throughout the property, which gives the hotel a unique character and creates a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional throughout our stay, always happy to help and making us feel genuinely welcome. From the beautiful design and artwork to the amazing facilities and spectacular views, the Penthouse at The Olsen delivered a luxury experience that exceeded expectations. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special in South Yarra.

Our overall experience was great - we stayed in one of the pent houses. There were two rooms. Separated by thick curtains. It was very spacious! The only let downs was there was no usb or usb-c ports in the room. And no green tea in the tea selection in the room. Otherwise the mini bar was well equipped. The kids loved the heated half indoor half outdoor pool! The lolly bar at reception was also a treat on arrival. Parking was very affordable but only available on a first serve basis. The gym is small but well equipped for what it offers. We would definitely stay again. Service overall was good but room for improvement

Superb room & amenities. Room was spacious & had a great view. Comfortable chair & table, small desk with chair & a large TV on the wall. Bathroom was more than adequate with a good shower head & body soap, shampoo & conditioner pump packs on the wall. Small kitchenette with coffee machine and a kettle. Enough cutlery and crockery for two people. Room also included a bar fridge. Reception staff were lovely & friendly. Only attended breakfast once for a small bowl of fruit and yogurt with a blended juice. All five stars. Parking available at $40 a night or street parking if you’re lucky. There’s 1/2P at front door & 2P around the corner but be careful of the tow away zones.

Fantastic Location right in the heart of South Yarra. Check in was easy. Rooms spacious and clean. Hotel restaurant and bar onsite. Late check out is handy. Unfort unable to take advantage. Lolly Bar a cute bonus. Would return.
