Yea Riverside Caravan Park

We recently stayed at Yea Riverside Caravan Park with a few cabins booked. The campsite itself and the shared facilities were spacious, well maintained, and enjoyable, and we had a lovely time spending time together in the common areas. The cabin we stayed in was advertised for 6 people, however it felt quite small and dated for 6 adults. Since we were only 2–3 people in our cabin ,it was manageable for us. The bathroom and shower area appeared clean, which we appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the beds and cabin really needs more attention. There were bugs in the bed when we arrived, including dead bugs that I had to clean off myself with a towel before we could even use the bed. We also felt uncomfortable enough that we used our own bed sheets over the bedding provided. Unfortunately, I experienced itching throughout the nights and even the following day after leaving. This was disappointing and honestly made us question how thoroughly the cabin had been cleaned before our arrival. There were also a few miscommunications regarding the cars and charcoal BBQs, which could have been communicated more clearly either during booking or on arrival. Overall, we still enjoyed our time together as a group and the park itself has a lot of positives, but the cabin cleanliness — especially the bedding — is something that needs improvement and more attention from management.

Myself and my 3 kids had such a wonderful stay at Yea Riverside Caravan Park! We booked one of the cabins and were genuinely impressed from the moment we arrived. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It felt cosy without being cramped, and the attention to detail really stood out. The bed was super comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made for a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the beautiful location right by the river. It’s such a calm and scenic spot — perfect for unwinding, going for a walk, or just sitting back and enjoying nature. The park itself is very well maintained, with clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in the park. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Yea Riverside Caravan Park to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

Could not recommend highly enough, the owners were so accommodating, facilities were clean, enough play equipment for the children. Just a short walk into town. We were so impressed we booked a spot again for Summer. Big bonus points for us is that dogs are allowed all year round, we won’t book anywhere unless animals are welcome, and finding camp grounds available especially over peak periods is hard. We had a spacious quiet area for our caravan, although our area was abit muddy you can’t always expect perfect when camping. We can’t wait to come back in summer and get the children to enjoy the pool. Thanks again for having us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Yea Riverside Caravan Park on an unpowered site. The setting along the river is beautiful and so relaxing, with plenty of space and a really peaceful atmosphere. Everything around the park was clean, tidy and well looked after, and the amenities were great. The staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay. It’s such a great spot for families or anyone wanting a quiet getaway away from the hustle and bustle. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back again!
