The Expo celebrates model railways and plastic kit modelling, encouraging creative and constructive leisure activities for all ages. Visitors can explore more than 50 model railway layouts, alongside LEGO displays and radio-controlled trucks and diggers.
A wide selection of vendors will offer everything from beginner starter sets, tools and paints to highly detailed models and accessories for experienced modellers. Exhibitors will be available to answer questions, while clinics will provide opportunities to learn modelling skills and techniques.
The venue offers on-site and street parking, as well as accessible facilities and ramp access.
The Picnic Train will run steam train trips from Sydney to Goulburn on Saturday and Sunday, with shuttle buses operating between Goulburn Railway Station and the Veolia Arena.
The Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre will also be open Saturday 9am–5pm and Sunday 9am–4pm, with a special Saturday evening session from 7pm–10pm. Tickets for all three sessions will be available at the door.
Proceeds from the onsite BBQ will be donated to Kids with Cancer.
