In a world awash with outrage, certainty and competing truths, the Festival of Dangerous Ideas offers something rarer: the opportunity to sit with complexity. This August, join leading thinkers, artists and changemakers as they explore the forces shaping our lives, from hatred and conspiracy to belonging, nationhood, faith, equality and revolution. Speakers include John Cameron-Mitchell, Richard Flanagan, Nobel Peace Prize-winner Maria Ressa and Cory Doctorow. Across 10 days and 13 venues, there will be talks, arts, films and excursions. Festival of Dangerous Ideas reveals the ideas hiding beneath the surface and asks what happens once they've been uncovered.
