Ancient Letters: Elena Kats-Chernin AO and Tamara-Anna Cislowska in Concert - Port Macquarie

Two pianists, one piano, four hands. Composer Elena Kats-Chernin AO and ARIA award-winning pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska bring Ancient Letters to the Glasshouse Theatre, presented by Music in the Regions. It is the only theatre date on their regional tour.

You may already know Elena's music: Eliza Aria, Russian Rag from Mary and Max, and the score for the Oscar-nominated Memoir of a Snail. Tamara has recorded eleven number one albums and presents Duet on ABC Classic.

They have played together since 1995 and play from sketches rather than a finished score, rebuilding each piece live, so no two concerts are the same.

The Glasshouse bar opens at 6pm for pre-concert drinks.

Thursday 22 October, 7pm (doors 6pm) Glasshouse Theatre, 42 Clarence Street, Port Macquarie AUD45, under 18s AUD25
