We came here as part of a shore excursion on our cruise 🚢 ship stopping in Port Arthur, Tasmania. It was one of four stops. It was definitely worth it. We were met at the door after getting off the bus with a staff member giving out complimentary pieces of chocolate 🍫. This was a lovely welcome. The atmosphere was very rustic and country, beautiful. The range of handmade chocolate was amazing and large. Very hard to constrain yourself if you are a chocolate lover like myself. I loved the see through windows into the kitchen where you could see the staff making the chocolate. A really great touch. I bought a couple of blocks of chocolate and they were delicious. There’s also a lovely range of souvenirs and gift items to choose from eg candles, tea towels, deluxe chocolate and if you’re inclined, an ice cream. The chocolate Bon Bon’s were amazing. I would definitely recommend a visit. Highly recommend. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

I had a disappointing experience at this chocolate shop. I bought two chocolate bar soaps as gifts for two different friends, but the cashier put both items into one very small paper bag. I’m environmentally conscious and appreciate efforts to reduce waste, but this didn’t make sense, especially when other chocolate products were being placed in plastic bags.
What bothered me more was the attitude. Instead of explaining the reasoning politely, the cashier made a face and came across as dismissive and unfriendly. A simple, respectful explanation would have made a big difference.
Overall, the product idea is nice, but the customer service really needs improvement.

It’s a good stop while going to port Arthur. Plenty of parking and welcoming staff. Good vegan options for chocolate as well.
Not sure why they kept asking if we are from a tour or not etc. was a bit odd being asked so many times.

Absolutely adored our side trip to the Foundry! I fell in love with the Pepperberry and Sea Salt but all flavours we tried were amazing. Thanks to Sheryl for her awesome hospitality as well. Will absolutely be returning.
