The Adelaide Soaring Club is a not-for-profit organisation that shares a passion for gliding and all recreational aviation. Imagine the joy of soaring like a bird in a Glider above one of the most picturesque wine regions in the country, on the doorstep of the Barossa Valley.

Operating from the Gawler Airfield, only a 45-minute drive north from the centre of Adelaide. With 80 years of experience and an excellent safety record, the Adelaide Soaring Club is the choice for many aspiring pilots.

Gliding Air Experience Flight

Experience the joy and serenity of knowing what it is like to fly like a bird in a glider with only the sound of the wind passing you by. In the safe hands of your experienced instructor you can just relax and enjoy the view or maybe you would like to take the controls yourself. For the more adventurous you may even like to do some aerobatics. Once your flight is finished you may like to go and enjoy the ambience and wonderful food and wine just minutes away in the Barossa Valley. What a way to spend your day.
