Sydney Kings v Illawarra Hawks Round 14

There's no better way to end Christmas Day.

The Freeway Series returns on Christmas Night as the Sydney Kings and Illawarra Hawks renew one of the fiercest rivalries in Australian sport in a blockbuster festive showdown.

Inspired by the great Christmas Day traditions of the NBA, this has become one of the most unique nights on the Australian sporting calendar. Gather the family, unwrap the presents, enjoy Christmas lunch and then head to Afterpay Arena for an unforgettable night of basketball.

Expect plenty of festive fun, with Santa making a special appearance and the Kings taking the floor in our limited-edition Christmas jersey for this special occasion.

And on the court, expect fireworks. The Kings swept the Freeway Series last season, but rivalry games don't need extra motivation.

This is basketball, Christmas-style.

Make the Kings part of your Christmas and create a memory your family will talk about long after the presents are opened.
