About

Blue Mountains singer-songwriter Jerrah Patston premieres new material at The Joan, developed in collaboration with Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Jerrah and ACO first collaborated in a sold-out performance at ACO On The Pier in 2025, and they have been hard at work since, coming up with inventive arrangements for Jerrah's latest set of songs.

The new works will feature on Jerrah's upcoming fourth LP, tentatively titled Pipe Majors. Songs include beautiful travelogues (Ballina, Simple Machine), character studies (Renae, Riding On A Plane) and classic slices of life (Storms Are Really Annoying, You Can Swim In Different Ways, New Year's Eve).

Jerrah works with his songwriting collaborator Sam Worrad at Club Weld, a studio for neurodiverse musicians located at ACE in Parramatta. The show feature guest appearances by other emerging talents from the Club Weld studio, including neo-classical composer Patrick Li, pop creator Jonathan Yung and electronic whiz-kid Jessie Walsh.
