Wake to kangaroos grazing in the paddocks, birdsong and wide-open country views. This undulating 10-acre paddock offers a genuine rural camping experience, with a dam, a scattering of established trees and views across the surrounding farmland and towards another dam below. Kangaroos are regular visitors, particularly around dawn and dusk, and the open landscape means plenty of big sky, beautiful changing light and stars at night. What makes this spot special is the space, simplicity and sense of getting away from it all. There are no marked campsites or campground facilities — find a suitable spot to pitch your tent and enjoy your own little patch of the farm, with only a very small number of campers sharing the 10 acres. It’s also a great base for exploring the Fleurieu, with Willunga, McLaren Vale wine country and beautiful beaches within easy reach, before coming back to the peace and quiet of the countryside.
