Powerhouse Parramatta Opening Festival: Flood Mitigation

Award-winning Wiradjuri journalist Rae Johnston speaks to representatives from Aboriginal corporation Jagun Alliance to discuss the role that community cultural practices and Aboriginal knowledge can have in caring, protecting and restoring water country.

Jagun Alliance is one of 7 First Nations-led organisations whose work Caring for Water Country across NSW has been documented by acclaimed Kamilaroi filmmaker Ivan Sen as part of Overflow – a Powerhouse Parramatta opening exhibition that is grounded in the living principles of water country.

This is an Auslan-interpreted event.

This event ticket includes free entry to the museum and 4 exhibitions: The Mall, The Dark, Overflow and Es Devlin: The Turning.
