Croftdown Farm Tour

Would you like to get up close and personal with adorable, friendly mini and micro donkeys and our gorgeous Highland cows? Here's your chance!

They spend a lot of time with their farm animals, and they repay them everyday with their incredibly friendly demeanour. Their donkeys absolutely love to be loved—and a little warning, they are very in-your-face and demanding of all your attention! Treats or no treats, they just want to be brushed and cuddled. Their Highlands, on the other hand, are a bit more self-serving; they love being fed and don't mind the odd pat, but they are definitely less keen once the treats run out! In this one-hour session, you will get to meet our entire donkey family as well as their beautiful fold of Highland cattle. You will get to feed the Highlands, plus feed and brush the donkeys. (While their Highlands are very quiet, they don't offer brushing with them for safety reasons).There is no age restriction for this tour, so the whole family can be a part of it. Be sure to bring your cameras because selfies are highly encouraged—the Highlands and the donkeys just love posing for a photo!
