Del Rio Riverside Resort

So much potential The good-- * Great location, on the river * Lots of amenities-- pool, tennis courts, mini-golf, game room, golf, showers, laundry, cafe, quad bikes, etc. * There's good wifi at the cafe * The cafe is the best I've seen for a holiday resort. * It's pretty easy to get to Wisemans Ferry (the local village, which has restaurants, groceries, etc.) The bad-- * Poorly maintained-- 3 of 5 laundry machines were down. Mini-golf floods when it rains. Some quad bikes were broken. 3 of 4 machines in the game room were broken. Most of the mini-golf course needed new felt. * There's almost no internet... except right near the cafe * There are local trails... but they're so poorly maintained that the staff have been told not to tell people where they are. It was good for the kids, who loved the flooded mini-golf course, and didn't seem to mind that the game room didn't work... we were able to work around the broken bikes. They didn't like the poorly maintained trails, but (as an ex-boy scout) I can follow almost any trail. It feels like this was an incredible place, but the owners overextended themselves, and now the place runs on a skeleton crew.

It was fully packed camp-site, had showers and toilets on multiple places. It has a Cafe operating between 8-8 and has free wifi. Prices are reasonable. No mobile reception. If you are after the water games with your own boat, a good place to try. Cycle track and swimming pool with water play area takes a mention. Even they have pedal operated go-kart kind of one for hire, $20 for 45 mins.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at Del Rio Riverside Resort. I especially valued the ‘no internet’ time we got to spend with family. The cabin was a bit dated, but it served its purpose. My cousins had a weird interaction with one staff member in the cafe while getting pizza for dinner on a Friday. But with me, all the female staff were nice. My son loved the splash park and the pool which was just in front of our cabin. Also, we had great fun on the hire carts. We will be back next time definitely. Thank you.

would like to share some feedback about my recent visit. The place itself has a very good structure — clean, organized, and well presented. Everything looked professional and gave a great first impression. However, unfortunately, my experience at the reception was disappointing. The blonde woman at the front desk did not show any willingness to help at any moment. We tried to speak with her and ask for assistance, but it was extremely difficult to have a proper conversation. Her attitude felt unfriendly and unapproachable, which made the experience uncomfortable. We were polite, respectful, and tried to communicate clearly in English, but sadly, we did not receive the same level of courtesy or support in return. I believe the business has great potential because of its excellent structure, but customer service — especially at the reception — really needs improvement, as it strongly affects the overall experience.
