Hunter Valley Walking and Wine
It’s only fitting that GirlsTrek would design one of the Walking and Wine experiences in Australia’s oldest wine region, which boasts over 150 wineries. With the first vines planted back in 1820, this area offers much more than just its rich grape harvest! This is a gentle itinerary perfect for first-time trekkers or those who prefer a more relaxed pace. Kangaroo Valley
Kangaroo Valley is a picturesque, gently sloping valley nestled amid the towering mountains of New South Wales' Southern Highlands. Mt Kosciuszko Summit
Australia’s wild frontier, Kosciuszko National Park, is rich with early settler history. Climbing Mt Kosciuszko is just one highlight of this adventure, which also includes traversing snow gum forests, following rushing mountain rivers, and crossing scenic ridges. The trails are adorned with vibrant wildflowers and snowy bluffs at higher elevations. The journey covers Dead Horse Gap, Merritt’s Meadows, and Mt Kosciuszko. After the vigorous trekking days, unwind in cozy mountain lodges, savoring delicious food, fine wine, and the crisp mountain air.
Sydney Beaches
Starting at Coogee Beach in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, this trek will follow the coastline all the way to Rose Bay. On the second day, set off from the stunning Long Reef, traverse the headlands to Manly and the historic quarantine station, and wrap up at the charming Balmoral. Along the journey, savour delicious meals at local restaurants and stay in unique, custom accommodations. There will be ample opportunities for coffee breaks, shopping, and a glass of wine!
