The Little Black Shack

The Little Black Shack is a serene and private holiday retreat in Great Mackerel Beach, Sydney. A lovingly restored timber and sandstone fisherman’s cottage, this secluded beach and bush hideaway makes the perfect couples retreat, with no roads, no cars and no shops around – the only way to access the property is on the water. The rustic cottage features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a hand-built sandstone open fireplace, hammock, outdoor shower, woodfire oven and charcoal barbecue. Guests have free use of the kayaks, fishing rods, crab traps and snorkelling gear.
