Walcha Caravan Park

What a sweet little town and the van park is a hidden treasure. Of course it was -9 degrees when we visited, of course some things went awry, but more specifically, of course the lovely owners did everything they could to make us comfortable. We were in a cabin with a comfy bed, kitchen and bathroom, undercover carport and air con. Basic, but all we needed. Warm fire in camp kitchen, courtesy bus to and from Bowlo and a friendly smile and wave anytime we passed by. The township is full of interesting quirky shops and stops. We had a lovely time. Visit Walcha!

Park was clean and neat, fantastic camp kitchen with log fire, spent great afternoon there. The park owner drove us to the local pub for dinner and when finished, picked us up. Service was fantastic and highly recommended.

Stayed here with our caravan and dog for a couple of nights passing through the area and so pleased we did. The park is beautifully laid out, the amenities are well maintained and clean and the camp kitchen is a meeting place for all guests with its cosy wood heater. Luke and Tam, the owners welcomed us and were around for any questions. As it was their 10th anniversary of owning the park they put on a free BBQ and on Easter Sunday an Easter egg was left for each guest. Luke and Tam genuinely love making sure their guests are well looked after and we would highly recommend this park to everyone. The town is within walking distance with two supermarkets and some quaint shops.

I recently spent the weekend in Walcha. This park was fantastic. The owners can not do enough for their guests, and the amenities are fantastic. The camp kitchen with its fire place was the perfect gathering area on a cold night. I couldn't fault a thing. Definitely coming back.
