About

Strike a Chord is a bold new contemporary Flamenco work by Compañía Pepa Molina, presented at Eternity Playhouse in Darlinghurst as part of Sydney Fringe Festival.

Created by acclaimed choreographer Pepa Molina with an original live score by guitarist and composer Marco Van Doornum, the work places the dynamic relationship between Flamenco guitar and dance centre stage. Every footstep inspires a chord, every rhythm sparks a response, and guitar and dance become equal partners in an intimate and electrifying live conversation.

Performed by Las Flamenkas, the production brings together outstanding emerging Western Sydney artists alongside established professionals, celebrating Flamenco's rich cultural traditions while exploring its contemporary possibilities.

Selected by Time Out Sydney as one of its ten must-see shows at Sydney Fringe Festival 2026, Strike a Chord offers Sydney visitors a distinctive Australian Flamenco experience in the heart of Darlinghurst.
