I had a precious family antique bangle, handed down from my Great Grandmother, sitting at home unwearable due to the clasp being jammed closed. The bangle had been this way for some time as I was unwilling to trust anyone to attempt a repair. After following posts on social media and seeing the beautiful work that Bowral Fine Jewellery were doing, I took my bangle in and showed George and Rebecca. George was able to immediately undo the clasp and identified that the mechanism was broken. With his vast knowledge and skills he was able to remake a new internal mechanism and clasp, all the while maintaining the integrity and structure of how the bangle was originally made. I can once again enjoy wearing this beautiful family heirloom. I can’t thank George and Rebecca enough for their care and their skills. Recently I lost my wedding and I was devastated - until we (wife and I) entered Bowral Fine Jewellery and met George and Rebecca. I have never met two more honest, down to earth people filled with integrity and passion. We explained our unfortunate circumstance, to which they were very sympathetic. Rebecca immediately fired up her lap top and showed concept designs, George got out his sketch book and through collaborative consultation and advice we came up with design similar to my lost ring. The finished product is exquisitely hand made and magnificent in all aspects. An added bonus was George inscribed my name (in Greek as we both share the same name and Greek heritage) on the inside.
