About

If you're tackling the Spit Bridge to Manly Walk, you'll pass by this little slice of beach early on the route. Just 30m long and 5m wide with a large freestanding boulder in the shallows, Castle Rock Beach is a picture-perfect place to swim. Protected by bushland-covered sandstone slopes, it's a secluded spot to relax when the sun's shining and is a great place to catch a sunset. Castle Rock Beach is only accessible on foot and includes a few sets of worn stone steps to reach the sand, so make sure you're wearing sturdy walking shoes.
