Sapphire Nature Tours

Sapphire Nature Tours offer a fabulous day out for people interested in wildlife and nature as well as the history of the local towns. The tours limit participant numbers to 10 people to ensure you get a full personalised experience.

The guide, Sam Nerrie, is the most experienced nature guide on the Far South Coast. She will be delighted to show you some of the secret places and curious creatures of the Sapphire Coast of NSW and the nearby Wilderness Coast of Victoria. Tours cover Canberra, Merimbula, Eden, Tathra, Mallacoota and Atherton Tablelands. A new tour for 2026 is the Far North Queensland 6 day tour visiting the world heritage rainforests, waterfalls and encountering some of our unique animals such as tree kangaroos and platypus.

Take some time out to walk and drive through some fabulous scenic places with Sapphire Nature Tours. Experience a relaxing and fun day out with a mature nature guide.

You will be driven to the locations in a mini-bus or van (unless it is the Secrets of Merimbula Walking Tour). Walking is part of all other tours to ensure the full experience. If you can't walk too far, you will be welcome on these tours as you can participate as much or as little as you like.
