Bowral Honey Farm

A very informative fun afternoon. We learnt so much about the importance of 🐝 and all about the hives .Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tasting the honey was fun and getting dressed in all the gear was definitely something different to do.

Located at 1325 Old South Road, Bowral, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a wonderful honey farm that offers tours, including visiting the beehives in bee suits, and other experiences. It’s located on Retford Park which is a National Trust property. We had a wonderful time here. Hamish, our guide was so welcoming and friendly. We learned so much from him when it comes to everything regarding bees 🐝 and the different types of honey 🍯. Our experience included scones, tea/coffee, sandwiches/wraps and cut up fruit. It was delicious 😋. We also got to taste test the different honey. Hamish took us for a walk down to the beehives but unfortunately the weather was misbehaving and it rained as we were walking down there and we had to go back. Later on the sun 🌞 decided to come out so I was able to go back down. It’s all situated around a beautiful lake and the scenery is amazing. You can also buy yourself some honey, there’s several different types to pick from. I would definitely recommend a visit, a BIG thumbs up from me. 👍👍👍

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Bowral Honey Farm. We did the Honey Tasting and Beehive Experience. Our host was really friendly and engaging, sharing lots of interesting facts about the bees and how they got into bee keeping. We loved putting on the bee keeping suit and getting to open up the hives. The honey tasting was delicious too 😋 would definitely recommend booking in when visiting Bowral.

Bowral Bee Farm tour was a great experience for all our family. I really enjoyed the welcoming, the instructions and the tour. Kids loved it. Such a beautiful place to go. We had a great time out. I recommend to all our friends.
