Did the Unicorn Falls ride; an excellent route with interesting mix of easy flat and more challenging hills, countryside and bush, finishing at a rustic country pub and you felt like you had earned a drink! The e-bikes we hired were good quality and the Beyond Byron team were great - friendly and helpful. This was THE BEST activity we did in the Byron area and we are keen to try more of their routes when we are back.
Did the Unicorn Falls ride which is a well designed route and well mapped on Ride with GPS it was easy to follow and well narrated. The route covered the best part of the rail trail and quiet country road riding before heading off into the bush and some nice gravel road riding. The bikes were of good quality and well maintained. Ending at the pub was a nice touch and the pickup was prompt allowing other activities to be fitted in that day. Next time we in the area we will do the distillery ride.
I had a very memorable ride thanks to Beyond Byron E Bikes around the Unicorn Falls circuit on an eMTB. The level of information and the navigation aid provided was superb and the bike was more than adequate for the job. The scenery was beautiful too, along the Rail Trail and into rainforest. Highly recommend Beyond Byron E Bikes to anyone who wants to explore this area.
On arrival the bikes were ready and we had a quick get to know the bike lesson before we were on our way. What a great route. We cycle south to north and stopped for lunch at the furthest point of the ride. Lovely town with many good options. We then returned north to south along the gorgeous trail. Very well maintained and tarmac at certain points along the way. Highly recommend as a day out from Byron Bay. Gorgeous scenery along the route and you see it differently on the way back.
Two great days riding e-bikes with the Beyond Byron team - first day they delivered to & later picked up our bikes from Pottsville, which was super convenient. We rode up to Kingscliff and had lunch on the deck at Cudgen SLSC, beautiful weather and good opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the bikes. Next day we rode on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail from Mooball to Murwillumbah. It was a great day, the BBB team again were great and helpful when a bike needed changing/adjusting. Had a visit to Tweed Regional Gallery - excellent Nicholas Harding artworks on display - then lovely lunch at Tweed River House Lawn Bar, before riding back to Mooball. Great experience!
