As an experienced fishing guide, George can customise a land based fishing tour for you, from bait gathering, morning or sunset fishing, beach worming or fishing under the stars.
You’ll be taken to George’s tried and tested fishing spots, shown the tools and tricks of the trade by one of the South Coast’s finest fishermen. George will come to you - anywhere between Shoalhaven Heads and Shellharbour, NSW.

Available Tours
Morning Beach Fishing
Targeting sand whiting, bream, tarwhine, flathead, trevally and more. Starting at 0700h, meeting at a local beach depending on conditions. Finishing fishing at 1100h and targeting the bread and butter fish. If you want to take home a feed, we can leave the beach a little early, where George will clean and fillet your fish for you. Early bird catches the fish on worm.
Night Beach Fishing
Targeting mulloway (jewfish), sharks, salmon, tailor, big bream and more. Starting at 1700, meet at a local beach depending on the weather/swell conditions, and finishing at 2300h. This is your chance to be king of the jews. We target big jewfish with big baits. Long battles with big fish can leave your arms sore for days. We encourage catch and release with the big jewfish. If you want to take fish home for a feed that’s fine too.
Beach Worming Workshop
Want to save money? Learn to catch your own bait. Starting at a time depending on the low tide on the day. Beach worming is great fun when you get the hang of it. Beach worms live in the sand on the ocean beaches. I can teach you how to catch them and how to preserve and store them. Beach worms are one of the most expensive and best baits on the east coast.
Live Bat and Squid Fishing
Big fish eat little fish, they normally prefer them alive. Fishing off rock platforms or ocean harbours, this lesson/experience is based on the swell and weather. It normally starts 2 hours before sunset. Targeting mullet, yellow tail yakka, garfish, slimy mackerel, squid and more. I will teach you how to catch your own bait, and show you some of the ways to keep it alive and look after the live bait. I also run a nipper pumping, squirt worm 2 hour lesson/experience.
Sunset Beach Fishing
Targeting salmon, tailor, bream, flathead and more. Starting 2 hours before sunset and fishing until dark. Meet at a local beach depending on wind/swell conditions. Great family fun for those who like to lie in during the morning. Under the pink orange skies of the east coast sunset, as the sun goes down the fish come out.

Went on the shell cove fishing charter today for a bucks party, Clint & the crew hosted such a great day. 10/10 service, we arrived at the dock at 6am, the boys had everything prepared. An abundance of already rigged rods, eskies full of ice, drinks & food ready for the day and great music all day. The lads cooked us breakfast and rigged up every rod always on the ball making sure we were accommodated, everyone caught atleast 3 fish with the boys gutting, scaling, and filleting in bags ready to take home. The way the boys hosted the day was unreal, made our weekend. Thanks again boys, couldn't recommend enough.

Can not recommend shell cove fishing charters enough. Nick is an amazing skipper with a wealth of knowledge and experience. His young deckhand Will was also amazing. Nick got us onto the fish all day. He knows exactly where to go to get the rods bending. Nick is also great with kids and helps and teaches them as much as he can. All in all was a great day had by all and very much looking forward to getting back out on the water with him soon. Do yourself and your kids a favour and get out there and get some fish.
