Wonderful day!! Jimmy was informative and fun, the food was delicious and so creative, and the 3 winery’s he brought us to were great. Nice ideas regarding pairing the wine with food. Starting at the Sydney Fish Market was a great start of the day as he picked up fresh food for the day.

Gourmet Getaway Tours is a fantastic experience for both locals and visitors to Sydney. Jimmy shares his wealth of knowledge and prepares the food with genuine care and passion. I would highly recommend the tours to anyone looking for a memorable day out and an experience to treasure long after it’s over.

Fabulous way to spend a day. Jimmy, Guide, chef and driver does a superb job of blending your group and by days end you’ll have a new group of friends. Foods he cooks for you are perfect for the wines, which are served at three wonderful wineries. Out of our month traveling here and in New Zealand this excursion will remain one of my favorites .

It was The. Best. Tour! Owner operated. Jimmy, our host, guide, driver and personal chef was amazing. At each stop he provided food, starting with a breakfast on the Hawkesbury River. After breakfast , a hands on lesson in sushi roll making. Forgot to mention the day began with a stop at the new Fish Market to pick up provisions. Wineries were lovely, small boutique places and at each, Jimmy provided small bites to complement the wines on offer. Jimmy was thoughtful, knowledgeable about history, the region, and of course, wine and food. He entertained us throughout our trip with insights, humor and his good cheer.
