great spot to relax and enjoy the great views. must see spot while in the area. the skywalk is a nice stroll.
Very good view over Glen Innes
Yes. The colours in my pics are real. Go during sunset.
Decent view of town, nothing really special.
If you’re after sweeping panoramas and quick access to 3 lookouts without all that bothersome hiking, Martin’s Lookout at Glen Innes is the spot. Three breathtakingly expansive views stretch out in every direction, and you’ll be feasting your eyes on rolling landscapes as far as the horizon. But the best part? No strenuous trek! This beauty is just a short drive off the main road, so unless you find opening the car door a challenge, you’re in for an easy day out. Now, full transparency—there is a less-than-stellar council workshop you’ll drive past to get there. It’s not exactly what you’d call a charming addition to the scenery, but once you’ve got that behind you, it’s nothing but peace and quiet up at the top. Add in a few solid photo ops if the light’s good, and you’ve got a picturesque and relaxing little escape on your hands.
