About

Reconnect with nature. Reconnect with yourself.

At Nature Being Australia, they offer deeply restorative forest bathing walks for individuals, private groups and corporates in the breathtaking Royal National Park, Sydney.

Their walks are guided sensory immersions in the forest, unhurried, mindful, and profoundly nourishing. Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is science-backed and deceptively simple: slow down, open your senses, and let the forest do the rest.

The research is compelling. Time in nature measurably reduces cortisol and anxiety, boosts immune function, lowers blood pressure and quiets the overactive mind. But the experience goes beyond the science, most people leave feeling something they struggle to name and don't want to lose.

What sets Nature Being Australia apart is the quality of presence our certified guide brings to every walk. Each experience is thoughtfully held, weaving mindfulness, sensory invitation and deep respect for the natural world into something that stays with you long after you leave the forest.

This is not a hike. This is not a workout. This is two hours that belong entirely to you.

Nature is calling. Let yourself answer.

A lovely way to connect to nature and myself. I felt my nervous system switch from fight or flight/stress mode into relaxation mode and the sense of peace and calm lasted well beyond the walk. Alex is a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring guide with a gentle manner, inviting us to explore nature at our own pace and way through a variety of activities. I highly recommend joining one of her walks.
