Whale Watching Sydney

Hi team. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The crew were lovely and friendly. The weather was rough though and we only got a couple of glimpses which was unfortunate. Having said that, we were sent an invitation to return at no cost! My friends and I will certainly do that. My only criticsm was there wasn't enough safety or grip bars to hang onto while moving around the boat. A few more of these would have been good, especially as it was so rough on that day. Update. Visit number 2 was much more successful. Beautiful day. Whales in abundance! We had a great time both times! Thanks Fantasea!

Amazing! We saw 2 pods of humpback whales, incredible to be so close, really beautiful creatures! Boat ride itself is bumpy - I personally enjoyed it (it was a bit like a rollercoaster!!), but there were a few others who were almost seasick, so I was glad that I'd taken travel sickness medication a half-hour before getting on the boat. The captain of the boat was a total legend, really knew his stuff, & got us out there to see the whales really efficiently. Would recommend if you're looking for a thrill - great experience!!

Had a great time on this whale watching trip! We joined the cruise from Circular Quay during winter — which turns out to be the best season for whale watching in Sydney. We were lucky enough to see whales several times throughout the journey. Every time they showed up, people got excited and rushed to the sides to watch — really special moments. The cruise started with great views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then we headed out past the cliffs into open water. The ocean was quite rough that day, so if you get seasick, it’s a good idea to take something in advance. The boat has three levels, which is great for different needs. The lower deck is more sheltered and stable — great for elderly or those feeling unwell, while the top deck is windy but gives the best views for those who want to fully enjoy the ocean and take photos. We stayed up top most of the time, and it was worth it. The crew were friendly and helpful throughout the trip, giving tips and making sure everyone was safe. A few quick tips: • Winter is a great season for whale watching — plan accordingly! • Bring a warm jacket and maybe a hat — it gets cold and windy out at sea. • Wear sunscreen and sunglasses — the glare is strong even in winter. • Grab a spot on the top deck early if you want the best view. • Take motion sickness tablets if you’re unsure — the waves can be strong. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one I’d highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney in whale season.

Absolutely amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone wanting to see whales up close. Great safety briefing which was engaging and made you feel safe and in the right hands. Ill never forget this experience. There was a few technical problems with the microphone but It didn't affect the experience too much. My only recommendation would be to upgrade PA system as it was too quiet on the bottom deck. It was totally fine on the upper deck 11 November 2025 (1pm - 2.5 hour Trip)
