River Islands Tour
Their most popular tour to date! This three-hour River Island Tour explores the islands and beaches of the mouth of the Clarence River. This tour is ideal for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Paddling around small and large islands of the Clarence River estuary, which are abundant with bird and marine life. Stopping on a deserted beach for morning or afternoon tea and a swim. Minimum fitness required. Tide and weather conditions determine where you paddle on the day.

We would highly recommend Yamba Kayak. Phil was friendly, great at communicating and was extremely helpful in accommodating my husband’s mobility needs. We chose a 3 hour independent kayak but when the strong winds came up earlier than forecast he happily came and picked us up. You will have a wonderful time with Yamba Kayak. Thank you, Phil!

Highly recommend taking a tour with Yamba Kayak. Our family had an amazing time on the River Cruise. Our guide Phil was friendly and knowledgeable, and ensured that we all enjoyed the experience. We saw lots of birds, including an Azure Kingfisher, Eastern Curlew and Beach Stone Curlews. (And morning tea was great!) The best experience for our family.

A beautiful way to see some nature, we spotted eagles, ospreys, jellyfish and a turtle! Phil was a wonderful guide and a lot of fun to chat with. Couldn’t recommend this more!

My husband and I went on the full moon kayak tour - it was amazing! Phil was so accommodating as I had to change my kayak tour several times. Very professionally organised. The scenery was spectacular including dolphin spotting and some rare birds. Dinner is also included on this tour - it was also very tasty. Will be booking another kayak adventure next time I’m in Yamba. Thanks Phil!
