This a beautiful destination to visit when in Bowral with a wonderful restaurant and cellar door for the vineyard on the property. We spent a relaxing Saturday afternoon at the spacious restaurant which looks like a grand hall with a huge fireplace at the end, tables in the middle and more seating along the sides with windows looking out to the vineyards. There's a lovely courtyard with more seating and another oversized fireplace outside. It's a great looking place and would perfect for a wedding or large gathering.
The menu and wine list is quite extensive, with lots of delicious sounding options. We opted for the chefs banquet which offered the best value and variety ($98). For that you start with a nice house sparkling white for each of us, followed by a mixed entree with 5 appetisers with a nice variety of flavours. For mains and desserts you get to pick off the menu. I went with the aged steak cooked medium which was perfect. Delicious pepper sauce and a small server of green leaf salad and a tasty potato layer stack. I finished up with a sweet and tangy mango dessert which complimented my main perfectly.
This is a perfect venue for family get togethers or friendly catch-ups. Not too noisy for such a spacious room. The service was great. Our waitress was fast and attentive. The food came out at a good pace for us to enjoy a nice relaxing meal.

A very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a mid-temperature wine-tasting afternoon with friends.
The veranda was enjoyable fresh which I assume should be welcoming in a hotter day compared to when we visited.
Very friendly and witty staff, adds up to the relaxing mood.
Never been here before and I was surprised to see see they host big-name concerts.
Would be interesting to see Sting performing with this beautiful natural scenario

Very friendly hosts. Seems like a popular spot for weddings. We prebooked the brunch (a little surprised that it wasn’t as crowded as we had imagined). The scones were very nice with delicious jam and cream. The rest of the sweets were a little too sweet to our liking.

Such a pleasant spot for a tasting. The outdoor deck is beautiful and looking straight out onto perfectly manicured lawns. The wine tasting pours were generous (which I always appreciate), and they’ve set up a QR code with all the tasting notes. Personally, I prefer having the notes on my phone because I like comparing as I go, otherwise I get lost in all the detail.
The whole place feels relaxed but intentional, and I’ll definitely be heading back to try the restaurant next time. When we visited there happened to be a Maserati club lunch, with Maseratis from many vintages lined up … very on brand for a Southern Highlands weekend.
Overall, really lovely experience!

Such a lovely wine tasting experience with Anna! So knowledgable about wine and generous with her time and descriptions. Afterwards enjoyed a nice lunch on the terrace and the beautiful views of the vineyard. Would recommend for anyone looking for the best wine experience in the Highlands!
