Wollemi Wanders is a boutique adventure company, providing nature immersion experiences such as forest bathing, bush walks, hikes, and canyoning.
They are expert biologists with deep knowledge of Australia's flora and fauna and love sharing their knowledge. They offer walking tours in the Blue Mountains region and focus on slowing down and connecting with nature.
They cater for most abilities, from slower on-track walks to discover and photograph wild flowers, to more strenuous on- and off-track walks in wilderness areas, and even abseiling (rappelling) trips in Blue Mountains canyons.

Grose Valley Views
The awe as you peer into the Grose Valley just cannot be captured in a photo. With rusty orange cliffs up to 500m high, you stare down through 280 million years of earth's history into a green valley below. "Stupendous!" said Charles Darwin in 1836, and you will agree. They explore the wild and less-travelled north side of the Valley, following a narrow track through woodlands and past hanging swamps. Admire the flowers before venturing down towards the cliff edge. Relax with tea/coffee and sumptuous light meal, before further exploring the rugged landscape. Your biologist guide will tell you about the unique rock pagodas, flora and fauna, if that takes your interest. This is a half-day (5 hours) walking tour. A full day (8 hour) version of this walk is also offered. All food and beverages, equipment and national parks entry fees are included.

Wollemi Wanders far exceeded my expectations in every possible way. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and Andrew is truly exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly very capable — his passion for the area and what he does really shines through. From start to finish, the experience felt luxurious and thoughtfully curated. The vehicle was extremely comfortable, and Andrew is an efficient, confident driver, which made the journey relaxing and enjoyable. Lunch was outstanding — fresh, delicious, and a real highlight of the day. What truly set this experience apart was Andrew’s hospitality. Being welcomed to his home for a beverage after the adventure was such a special and personal touch that made the day feel even more memorable. This tour was a perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and authentic connection, and it exceeded every expectation I had. We recently had an amazing 4 hour guided tour from Mount Wilson down to the Wollanganbe River with three boys ages 13 to 10. Andrew is very capable and knowledgeable, and excellent company too. One of the highlights was seeing a little river lobster. And the picnic lunch was so gourmet and delicious. Highly recommend Wollemi Wanders!

We had a great trip through the Claustral canyon! Andrew is experienced and very diligent guide! We really appreciated his flexibility and hospitality! We booked just a day in advance, and he was able to accommodate our preferences, he awaited us with warm drinks & snack in the morning, prepared wholesome lunch & snacks to take with us, provided all the equipment including extra warm apparel and went beyond to ensure we had great day overall. Definitely recommended for superior experience (comparing to the big agencies). We’ll be back again for other canyoning trips in BM.

We had a beautiful canonying trip with Wollemi Wanders! The canyon was stunning and floating along the river was an amazing way of seeing this piece of nature! There was not much to worry about, Andrew made sure we all had fitting gear, the lunch was delicious and we got some tasty snacks as well!

I wish I could give 6 stars. An unforgettable experience with a fantastic guide! What stood out: * The route. A perfectly balanced combination of scrambling over rocks and leisurely floating in a lilo while admiring the breathtaking views. * Focus on safety. We were provided with all the necessary gear and guidance, and the journey went extremely smoothly. * Hospitality. A warm welcome in a beautiful garden before the start and refreshing farewell drinks after the long ascend wrapped up the experience like a Christmas gift!
