Bannisters Pavilion

Very welcomed by all staff, reception, Roof Top Bar, Driver to Rick Steins Restaurant , staff at the restaurant too - perfect! Room was large, lovely and clean. Bed very comfy. The welcome drink set the tone for a wonderful staycation. Dinner was superb Ooh and the destination charger was a welcomed surprise! Breakfast was delicious

Our fave weekend getaway place, we have been here many times and it never dissapoints. The pavillion is so easy to have dinner and drinks and have our kids there also. If it was summer id really love to swim in the pool. The rooms are tiday and clean and have lovley shower wash. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Had a great time. The rooftop bar staff were lovely, and the food was great. Rick Steins restaurant was a pleasure to experience. The barista at the coffee cart made one of the best magic coffees I've ever had.

We stayed at Banisters Pavilion for Valentine’s weekend and, honestly, for the price almost $1000 for two nights (room only) we felt it was overpriced for what we got. The carpet in the room was quite worn with noticeable stains, which immediately took away from the experience and didn’t match the premium rate. We decided to treat ourselves with a cozy Valentine’s night in - room service and Netflix - but the food was very disappointing. The vegetable curry had no spice or fragrance and honestly tasted like bland coconut cream from a can. The seafood pasta was dry and also lacked salt and flavour. Luckily there were a few salt packets in the room so we tried to salvage it ourselves. The only decent dishes were the salad and cauliflower entree. Overall, the stay didn’t live up to the cost or expectations. For that price point, we expected better room quality and much better food.
