Exceptional in every aspect. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with my requests due to 3 very late bookings. Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms had good lighting and lots of easily accessible PowerPoints next to the beds. Large car park and the restaurant had great food.

I can’t recommend The Apollo Charlestown highly enough! We host our annual scrapbooking retreat here each year, and it’s always an incredible experience. Steve, the Function Coordinator, truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he is always quick and efficient when responding to any questions or requests. His support makes the whole planning process so easy and stress-free. He is wonderfully supported by Ash, who is always so friendly and helpful, and this year Lara also took great care of us. The team consistently delivers exceptional service, making us feel so welcome every time. The meals are absolutely delicious, and the accommodation is comfortable and relaxing — the perfect setting for a creative weekend away. We are so grateful for the care and effort that goes into making our retreat so special year after year. I would highly recommend this venue and its incredible staff to anyone looking to host an event.

Great place to stay, friendly professional staff Restaurant and bar onsite a major plus when travelling, menu options good. Close to most amenities. Rooms clean, comfortable with spacious bathroom. Only minor negative was the tiny fridge stuffed with mini bar options so not much room for guests to use for own items.

My wife and i recently stayed here due to a medical emergency ( youngest son was in motorcycle accident ) and had to rush to Newcastle, we tried making bookings with other place's on the way, and kept getting the fobbed off. We rang Best Western Apollo and the staff were just brilliant, we explained the circumstances for our stay and that we would not be checking in until early hour's and they could not be more accommodating and had even given us a room upgrade for our stay, staff each day had asked about our son and showed genuine concern and heartfelt compassion, food from the room service menu was just outstanding. The entire premises was immaculate and very clean and our room was amazing. Thankyou to all the staff and management for the amazing stay, truly an amazing place to stay. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Lovely team. Quiet could get work done and relax. View of trees. Sorry I missed the pool! Also a restaurant. Impressed by room service. Clean and modern. Not much for vegetarian but what was for dinner room service was delicious
