BIG4 Tweed Billabong Holiday Park

Our stay at BIG4 Tweed Billabong with our 6 kids was honestly the best! We had an ensuite site which was a really good size and gave us plenty of space / the privacy of our own bathroom, which was perfect for our family. There is SO much for kids to do here. The jumping pad, playgrounds, heated pool and slide, cold pool, splash zone, basketball, go karts and so much more. The splash zone was definitely a favourite. It’s so well set up for little kids, with no deep areas, water slides and heaps of water play. Our kids absolutely loved it! The little coffee van was also a huge bonus! We had the breakfast platter (Ham & cheese croissants, fresh fruit salad, banana bread, coffees and hot chocolates! Such a convenient combo with 6 kids. The staff were all really friendly and the whole park had such a relaxed, family-friendly feel. Not to overcrowded with a lovely balance of tourists and elderly residents. There was honestly more than enough to keep our kids entertained the whole time, and that’s not always easy with 6 of them 😂 We loved our stay, and definitely look forward to coming back (Hopefully with some better weather 🙏) . Overall, it was such a great place for families with younger kids!

We stayed here for 9 nights and can honestly say this caravan park is amazing! The park is clean, tidy, and exceptionally well maintained. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. We've visited a number of caravan parks over the years, but this one really impressed us. The little touches make all the difference, such as the gate cameras that automatically recognise your number plate, so there's no need to enter a PIN code every time you come and go. 👌 Our cabin was perfect for our family and was spotless when we arrived. The water park and playgrounds were a huge hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours. The food trucks that visited during our stay were fantastic, and there is so much to see and do within the park that you never run out of activities. Although the park is close to a freeway and airport, we hardly noticed the traffic or aircraft noise. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly holiday destination.

One of the nicest caravan parks we’ve been to, with plenty of greenery and beautifully manicured sites. The views of the lake were amazing. The pools were beautiful and clean, and the large water park was a big hit. The camp kitchen and camp lounge had an upmarket, restaurant-style vibe. We absolutely loved the treehouse — at night it was all lit up and looked stunning. The food trucks in the afternoons were fantastic, with amazing food and very friendly owners. It was always a pleasure visiting them and a great bonus when we just wanted to relax instead of cooking. On the downside, the toilets were not kept very clean during the last few days of our stay and appeared to be cleaned only once in the morning, which wasn’t enough for a fully booked caravan park. Another negative was the café inside the park next to the camp kitchen (Billabong Café). It was only open from 7am to 12pm, and unfortunately one staff member lacked basic customer service skills. A friendly smile and kind interaction in the morning can really make a difference, and this was disappointing. Overall we had a great holiday and we'd definitely come back

Fantastic camp site. The kids absolutely loved it as there is so much for them to do. From the water park to putt putt, fishing and kayaking. It really is a great spot for familes there is something for everyone. Everything is very clean and tidy. We had an ensuite site and when we arrived for out stay the ensuite smelled very fresh and was really clean. The staff are very friendly and I was surprised to get regular texts about events on for the kids and even a message from the general manager to ask if we needed anything throughout our stay to just reply to the text. Definitely one of our favourite camp sites.
